Groups & Courses
As well as Home-Visiting support there are several other ways that Home-Start Dunfermline can help families.
Family Group
Our family group meets in the Dell Farquharson Community Centre on a Thursday from 10am-12 noon and is for children under 5 and their parents/carers. You and your children will be offered a snack and refreshments during the session.
You’ll have the chance to meet and chat with other parents and staff, and your children will have opportunities to play with others. Our play leaders organise craft activities for the children and provide plenty of toys, books, games and play equipment to keep the children amused. There are occasional messy food or play sessions, too.
Baby Group
Our Baby Group runs on Thursdays from 10 – 11 am, in the lounge at Dell Farquarson Community Centre. Baby Group is for parents pre-birth to 1 year. The Group gives you the chance to chat with other parents and get advice and support.
There are appropriate toys and activities available for the babies, and tea, coffee and biscuits for parents after the session in the main hall.
Book Bug and Baby Massage
We run regular Book Bug sessions for children under 5 and Baby Massage classes for babies from birth to crawling. Contact us to find out more about these classes and to register.
Attendance at any of our groups is open to all but pre-registration is required. Get in touch to register.
